Return Policy

1. Right of Withdrawal

1.1. In accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive, the Buyer has the right to withdraw from the purchase agreement within 14 calendar days after receiving the product, without giving any reason.
1.2. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which the Buyer, or a third party designated by the Buyer (other than the courier), has physically received the product.
1.3. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Buyer must notify Fish N Tips in writing (e.g., by e-mail) within the withdrawal period. A clear statement (e.g., via e-mail) is sufficient; it is not required to use a specific withdrawal form.

2. Conditions for Returns

2.1. Returned products must be unused, undamaged, complete, and—where reasonably possible—in their original packaging.
2.2. Products that show signs of use, damage, or missing components may result in a reduction of the refund value, in accordance with Article 6:230s of the Dutch Civil Code.
2.3. The Buyer is responsible for the return shipment until it is received by Fish N Tips.

3. Exclusions from Withdrawal

3.1. The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to:

• Goods manufactured according to the Buyer’s specifications (customized products).
   

• Goods that, for reasons of hygiene, cannot be returned once unsealed or used.
  3.2. As Fish N Tips does not currently sell perishable or hygiene-sensitive products, no exclusions apply, unless explicitly stated at the time of sale.
   

4. Return Procedure

4.1. The Buyer must notify Fish N Tips of the decision to withdraw within the withdrawal period by e-mail at [insert email].
4.2. After notification, the Buyer must return the products without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 calendar days from the date of notification.
4.3. The return must be sent to the return address provided by Fish N Tips after the withdrawal request.

5. Costs of Return

5.1. The Buyer bears the direct costs of returning the goods.
5.2. Shipping costs paid at the time of the original order are non-refundable, except where the entire order is cancelled under the right of withdrawal.

6. Refunds

6.1. Upon valid withdrawal, Fish N Tips shall refund all payments received from the Buyer, excluding the cost of return shipping, without undue delay and in any event no later than 15 business days after receipt and inspection of the returned goods.
6.2. Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless the Buyer expressly agrees otherwise. No additional fees will be charged for the refund.
6.3. Fish N Tips reserves the right to withhold reimbursement until the goods have been received and inspected.

7. Defective or Incorrect Products

7.1. If the Buyer receives a defective, damaged, or incorrect product, the Buyer must notify Fish N Tips immediately and no later than 48 hours after receipt.
7.2. In such cases, Fish N Tips will provide a suitable solution, which may consist of replacement, repair, or refund, depending on the circumstances.

8. Applicable Law

8.1. This Returns & Refunds Policy is governed exclusively by Dutch law.
8.2. Any disputes arising in connection with this policy shall be submitted to the competent court in Rotterdam, unless mandatory law prescribes otherwise.
